The dock of “Marina di Rimini” is equipped with a forced water recycling system realized by Whallinford, an English company, world wide leader in water depuration (it depurated the Thames). A huge amount of water flows in from the sea and is left to decant in a huge basin; it is then canalized into a space where 3 powerful pumps, through big pipes positioned on the bottom, convey 1200 litres of water per minute into the basin. This system can assure water recycling in only 72 hours.
The depth is 4 mts. on the medium sea level. The tide has an ebb flow of approx. 63 cm.
