 Marina di Rimini is already considered by the experts one of the most beautiful and avant-garde tourist harbours in the entire Mediterranean. With its 622 moorings and a mirror of water of over 100,000 sq.m., Marina di Rimini is the new jewel of the Adriatic, attended by the sail lovers. The entrance of the Marina is through the old port canal that allows the boats to enter in whatever condition of the sea. The canal is 4 meters deep, suitable therefore also for boats of big dimensions. Just beside the Marina there is also the shipyard with a large storage area and with a travel-lift of 100 tons capacity for the towage and launching operations of the boats. Marina di Rimini is realized with the most innovative building techniques and has modern and functional equipments. Its basin has a system of forced recycle of waters, the dock is encircled by barriers that neutralize the most light wave motion and in the harbour is installed a powerful system of parabolas for the connection to Internet. The shipowners are supplied with an electronic card to insert in the computer for wireless connection to internet. Fascinating and romantic the overhead walkway 1300 meters long surrounding the whole harbour. The bar and the restaurant with its panoramic terrace and view of the sea offers tasty snacks, appetizers and fish menù. Within the docks of Marina di Rimini there are moored numerous luxurious yachts and sailing boats of all types and dimensions. The new harbour has become in short time a famed spot for music and show personalities. Since its opening (31 May 2002) Marina di Rimini has acquired its natural capacity of container for shows and sail regattas.
